If you find yourself traveling with Photo / Video equipment, having a media pass is a must. Not only is it a great way to reaffirm to others your credibility and professionalism, but most major airlines in the United States require a Media Pass for "Media Baggage Rates". Each airline's policies surrounding Media Baggage vary, please do your own research depending on the airline you intend to fly with.
